Turbo's HTD Chiller is the latest "no frills" liquid processing solution, and the most "cost effective" uninsulated HTD/HF liquid heat exchanger made, to date. This "falling film plate type" heat exchanger transfers heat to a thin film of liquid falling on the outside of a plate. The refrigerant is contained on the plate's inside.The 48-inch plate's HTD geometrical configuration enables high fluid flow for wide temperature differences, or low fluid flow for high temperature differences. You can chill free flowing liquids to within one Fahrenheit degree of the freeze point. No freeze-up problems - water, brines, glycol solutions, all with comparable characteristics can be control-chilled to within a degree of their freezing points.
